These terms apply when you use the Starkey Insurance Group online quote form. By using it, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
A quote is an estimate
Any quote, price or coverage summary we give you is an estimate based on what you told us. It is not a binding offer and not a policy.
No coverage until it's bound and confirmed in writing
Submitting this form, receiving a quote, or talking with us does not put any insurance in force. Coverage starts only when an insurance company agrees to bind it and we confirm it to you in writing (for example, a binder, declarations page or ID card). Until then, keep your current insurance in place.
Your information must be accurate
You are responsible for giving true, complete and current information, including all drivers, vehicles, prior claims, accidents and violations, and how your home or business is used. Wrong or missing information can change your price, cause a policy to be canceled, or let an insurer deny a claim or void coverage.
Final price is set by the insurer
The insurance company sets the final premium after underwriting. It may review reports such as motor vehicle records, claims history (CLUE), inspections and, where allowed, credit-based insurance scores. The final price may be different from the quote.
No guarantee of acceptance
Insurers decide whether to offer coverage. We can't guarantee that any insurer will quote or accept you, or that a quote will stay available.
Where we can help
We are licensed to sell insurance only in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and North Carolina. Insurance is offered only where we and the insurer are licensed, and not every product or insurer is available in every state.
Commercial trucking
Federal and state filings, such as MCS-90, BMC-91/91X and state filings, are made only after a policy is bound and the insurer issues them.
Calls and texts
If you agreed on the form, we may call or text you, including with automated technology and prerecorded messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
Using the site
Please use the form only to request insurance for yourself, your household or a business you are authorized to act for. Don't submit someone else's information without permission, and don't misuse or try to disrupt the site.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Starkey Insurance Group is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using the site or relying on a quote, or for outages, delays or errors in information from third parties (such as insurers, NHTSA or FMCSA). Nothing here limits any rights you have under insurance law or the terms of a policy you buy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, except where the law of your state must apply.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed.
